Math: We played “Procrastinating Designer.” The kids had 30 minutes to design and build a “Hamster Mansion.” Mrs. Smith’s class this morning did a nice job under pressure. We will see how my homeroom responds, but I think they’ll do well as well. They were trying to build a hamster pen with as much volume as possible from the materials I gave them.
Science: We looked at potential and kinetic energy quickly.
